A Message from the Principal

Welcome to 2012!

Please note that school runs even in the snow, sleet, hail, rain, and sun - please make sure your children are dressed for any (and sometimes all) of the above!!  If you are unsure if school is in session, please check the School District website (sd48.bc.ca), or listen to Mountain FM (107.1).  They will let you know if schools are closed!  

We are happy to be back from holidays and are quickly resuming our classroom routines.

Basketball season has started and we have an eager group of boys and girls excited to learn and participate in this sport.

If there have been any changes in your address (street or mailing) or you need to update with a new cell or home phone, please contact Ms. Smillie at the school office (604-898-3601) or email her This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to keep the school up-to-date.  This is critical in case of an emergency or student accident.

Also with our wet weather, please be courteous and consciencious in our school parking lot.  It can get very crowded between 2:50 and 3:10 so be patient, find a parking spot, don't park at the front of the school and watch for pedestrians.  We have had several near misses as students run across or through the parking lot to meet you in the front.  This also backs up traffic on Government Road, making it very hazardous.  Thanks!!
